Scuba diving - everyone? ;D

Hello! My oh my I have been away haven't I? Work is too much fun!

How many of you can say that? It's only been a month of working in the new place but I am very much excited still. So much things to learn and everyday *although I do get my moment* I learn something new. There are stuff that I do know already but I don't like to assume I know it all. ALWAYS ask- just to be sure.

Its rather obvious that I am still very much vain hence the "oh someone snapped my picture while I was being emo" pose. Almost worked eh?

The vain picture is me from my seat in the office. :) I like how I managed to get the PADI logo in the picture. Cool!

FYI, I am now a S&M Exec for a dive company - www.borneodream.com. We are PADI, SDI, TDI, IANTD and BSAC affiliated dive operator. From learning how to dive, try dives, rebreathers courses - we are able to meet your diving needs. We run our day trip dives along the West Coast of Sabah. We visit Pulau Tiga, Usukan WWII Wreck and Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park islands for our day trip dives. With 25 > GPS dives sites, you are most likely to be the only one diving (other than your dive buddy and divemaster of course) in the water. If you are interested in getting certified and conquering the underwater world, then let me know.

I think it's funny, I keep seeing these bumper stickers on a daily basis. Make me smile :)

Fine, I do know scuba diving isn't exactly walking on water. :P

Octoberfest!

October 2010, marks yet another new beginning for me. Career wise, I have moved from work in the island onto something wet and exciting! ;)

After years of looking out for it, this opportunity came unexpectedly at the right time. Must admit that I am nervous which is good as it means I am VERY excited and want only to excel.

I can't say much now as I prefer to wait until I'm officially part of the dream team.

I get to save the ecology, be part of a dream team and lastly, walk on both land and water.

*cue*

You haven't seen it all until you've gone underwater. =D

I think I've said enough.

I got tarap

Since its the fruit season here, lets do fruit.

This is Tarap. Sweet and oh so addictive. Those little uh..hair like thing are pretty hard. Those white gooey sticks to your skin and removing can be a bitch sometimes.

But the taste, oh my gosh. I can live on the tree and survive on tarap.

Now imagine the fruit fell on you leaving a trail mark on your arm(and ego) with an audience as witness.

It hurts pretty fucking a lot.

Hurts even more when the kids started laughing before asking if you're okay.

*rubs arm*

Bali, the Highlands and now I'm sick

I'll save the post for Bali when I'm well. I'm agitated right now as I had to take sick leave on my 2nd day back to work. That's fine really but I have the feeling my working DAYS will be stretched because 1. I was away from work, work. 2. Sick leave upon returning.

Now, think. Normally sick leaves given by doctors are for 1 day only. So on the 2nd day, which is back to work, you're still recovering. So it doesn't help much if you're working 7days straight after. Chances are I will be sick still if not worst.

I think this could be the few posts I have about me being sick. Might even be the first one. I don't get sick often other than the sniffle.

Fever, flu, sore throat and body aches.

This blows big time.
